with us on the car-free RIEDERALP in the SWISS VALLEY and our charming 3-room apartment (approx. 50 sqm) for 1 to 4 people
Our apartment is perfect for young families with children, couples seeking peace and quiet, and of course, sports enthusiasts. With us, you not only have an unobstructed and breathtaking view of the Valais mountains, but you can also observe some of the four-legged forest dwellers from your living room window.
In summer, you can enjoy the scent of fresh hay and listen to the cheerful sound of cowbells, while in winter, everything is transformed into a glittering, snowy wonderland.
In the summer months, Riederalp is a biking and hiking paradise, and you can also enjoy paragliding and golf. But long walks to the nearby Bettmersee on the Bettmeralp are also perfectly manageable with the children in a stroller or balance bike.
In winter, the Aletsch Arena is a delight for snowboarding, skiing, and snowshoeing. Located right next to the UNESCO World Heritage Aletsch Glacier, the largest and longest glacier in the Alps, you'll experience a stunning natural setting rarely seen in this form these days. The Moosfluh lift is just a few minutes' walk away, and on the way back to the chalet, you can even glide almost to the front door.

News from the Basilisk
Dear guests & friends,
It is finished! After more than 30 years, the apartment on the upper floor of Chalet Basilisk has been updated.
From January 2026, the doors of the holiday apartment will open again for you, and you can look forward to a cozy and cheerful design for 1-4 people in our 3-room apartment.
In addition to underfloor heating and infrared heating, we've also equipped the apartment with smart home technology. You'll find a dishwasher, a large fridge-freezer, a lovingly renovated bathroom, and comfortable beds. And the absolute highlight is the newly added bedroom, which can also be used as a children's room or office.

Early departure and no-shows: 100%
We definitely recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

High and low seasons only weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday / minimum stay 7 nights.
Separate rates apply for shorter stays during the summer off-season.
